Arts vs Science... when u're a student, ur opinion hardly does matter.. you can be sloggin ur guts out in spite of a pile of hw n projectwork only to have all ur effort thrown back at u by a coupla science staff.. apparent morbidity of the play seems to me overrated... of cos, that's jus the opinion of a mere arts student.. den again, a play IS a work of art isn't it? hmmm... oh well.. gonna have to change it ALL to something else since the main plot was criticised.. wonder if samuel beckett ever had to deal with such critics.. i feel, write wat you like.. hu cares what others feel.. but of cos, this is a skool... no this, no that, n oh! no that either please... the normal everyday problems are considered morbid.. n so's a compliment about teachers injecting life into otherwise dull subjects.. all of them, MORBID! i'm beginning to love that word!!!

other than that, day went well.. no more lil miss nice gal.. here comes, the queen of cool..

Jus returned a while back from the Esplanade with the new formed Arts Clique.. Many discussions were held by which my lit analytical skills were tested time n again by my dear Ig.. The day began with me missin the bus.. but managed to reach skool earlier then len.. demonstration by the American exchange students was cool.. shootin their balls off.. literally.. :p Surprisingly alive.. must be drea's mints..

starved myself for naught as Hafeez was sick n din come so i din need to be carried.. rushing about skool after lessons to change from dance attire into uniform into blazer.. the experience was tiresome.. n wasn't aided by the fact that, us bein the Student LEaders, everyone had their two cents worth to contribute to the arrangement of the students, leading to a near heat stroke in light of the extreme layers of clothes worn.. felt annoyed enough to snap at them but thankfully restrained myself..

The outing cum ticket shoppin with ig, drea, nige, bin, n nige's gf was a definite relief. Had dinner at Soup Spoon, my first n definitely not my last experience.. deliciously fulfilling.. n felt incredibly stuffed thereafter.. Had mushroom soup.. big chunks of succulent mushrooms in the thick creamy soup.. the mere thought of it is rather tantalising.. Having bought the tickets afterm we went to the bay, ig, bin n i whiclst nige n gf went off for the dinner they din get cos of their tardiniess.. :p drea had left for home.. lovely talk about the ironies of life.. gossiping, and admiring the stars n Singaporean skyline, surrounded by tonnes of couples n a group smokin somethin which smelt like shi-shah... relaxing i guess... but i ended up becomin all emo again.. :S should be a phase..

Went to sit at Mrs Field's after nige n gf left again havin rejoined us.. looked through magazines, with bin hong finally displayin male tendencies through the appraisal of models.. n, more frequently, the criticism... there is a flaw in everythin.. n non of the girls he spotted scored above a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.. now that's just sad.. felt all tired den.. or maybe the beanbag seats were jus too comfortable.. i was half dazed...

went home den.. good news to tell.. STUDENT COUNCILLORS PERFORMANCE IS BACK ON!!!! :D cheers!!!!!

jus returned from vic's house.. very pretty house u've got gal.. thanks for havin us over! :D had real fun n all.. bet this time last year no one woulda expected this of all things.. makes me realise somethin.. one has got to look beneath the exterior to find true treasure.. not as in exterior appearances but exterior behaviour.. u're a nice gal.. as r all of the recess clique, drea and ig... drea's like my seatin partner man!!! so cute with her andrea-ness.. :p n ig, the hardworkin softy.. yet another hu appears so mean.. key word, appears.. hee hee

anyway, think i must be havin pms today... or recently... m thinkin too much.. dwelling on too many stupid stuff.. not busy enough to keep my mind away from thinkin all these stupid things issit? haha.. mr tan is lettin ig, drea, fauzi, su n i take part in the weather and climate competition by senoko or somethin like that.. sounds fun! esp since my fav topic in sec skool was weather!!! :D gonna be busy busy busy!!!

SC performance has been cancelled.. acc to them, the auditioning teams had put in loads of effort into their performances and deserve to be in.. so there's no time for the SC performance... i was jus sitting there, in the SC den.. thinkin... wat about the effort i had put in? it's not like, voila, i've got an entire script! i slogged over it k.. cos it was my responsibility and i did the entire script singlehandedly... was really pissed.. n disappointed.. the tears jus kept on flowing.. thinkin of it still makes me upset.. i mean, i understand your reasoning n all.. but well, i was jus upset that all my effort had been for nothin.. it's really not ur fault.. we jus dun have enough time.. oh well..

Boo!!! like my new blog skin? :D to make things easier for all those hu were complainin bout not bein able to get to my tagboard in the previous one.. nice riggghhhtt?? love the picture.. so contemplative... n u'd probably be surprised to find that it's not pink.. hee hee.. rather go for somethin i find beautiful... i realise i seem to be gettin detached from that self which is all seemingly airheaded... pink no longer really appeals so much.. black does...perhaps i'm going through that whole emo phase.. or maybe it's jus me growing up.. :) i also realised this blog lacks depth... it's basically MY problems, MY opinions, MY life.. nothin bout the world in general.. thus i shall begin analysing things which i've read or found interesting.. one such thing is that of the phrase i read in some random book bout asian australia.. was something about charlie chaplin.. yeah, the guy with the white face n moustache.. it said something along the lines of... don't try to be another. One excels best when they're themselves. He said that to the guy who was trying to be him.. in a deep and far more meaningful manner than i am now.. however, it hit me den... it seems cliche, to ask one to be themselves.. but the way in which it was said, and the fact that the book was chosen simply to act as a facacde by which i could do my hw in the research section, and that i had randomly flipped to a page.. i dunno.. could it be a message from above?

now i sound like a Christian fanatic. Let me stress, i'm not.. i believe in Him and all but i'm not one to go proclaiming his name. Which brings me to a point which i still feel quite sore about.. or maybe it was jus my faith bein tested.. for the confessional box to be labelled as a 'box', and hold water to be seemingly ridiculed as 'boiled' and 'drink after having a blow job' may be harmless.. yet it bugs me that people may actually think so superficially.. no insult to te person, he's nice :) .. i jus felt a lil sore.. no hard feelings k? :D but is that really how we're viewed? psychos hu squish 'desires' so as to be 'pure' priests? honouring a woman who is considered a 'surrogate mother'? i dunno.. my faith hasn't been shaken one bit.. only wonder that, in a multi religious country like ours... could it be that sometimes, we still lack the understanding of others' religions? just a thought.. u may wanna comment n share ur views.... :)

hee hee.. after a looong while.. prob lost all my regular visitors already.. :p hee hee.. anyway.. ahve been really really busy, only had time to chat online.. n on my tagboard so u can reach me dere.. Watched lake house with ig, Andrea, vic, jialin and gracetoday.. MAN!!!! in the words of ig "if anyone says lake house sucks i will punch their face man".. hee hee.. but it's true!!! absolutely unconventional love story.. and oh so sweet!!! he waited 4 years for her.. she saved his life.. wow... it's soooo amazing!!!!! after that andrea told me "i wan a bf!" haha.. u'll get one in time babe! :D i'm glad i've got a real sweet one.. hu i was jus talkin to... ;) ate a hell lot today.. went to some fast food jap thingie in PS before the movie, had finger food at cartel after the movie and went to the arts museum which was absolutely marvellous with ig.. den met jia lin and vic again to eat at gelare.. had piping hot waffles and oregon mint fudge ice cream which, now that i thik of it, was extremely fattening and i feel like pukin it all out at the expense of sounding bulimic? :p din go to skool today.. was utterly exhausted after a loong week.. wasn't long but very busy... thank GOD for this 'break'.. have 6 tutorials and 2 essays to complete on top of a script and WR which i've jus finished... phew... all by the end of thew week.. omgggg... have choir song selection later today and gonna meet him after that!!! :D okok, bridget needs her beauty sleep, and even though her hair is still drippin wet, n she might get a bad headache, ah well.. need ma energy for the rest of the day.. good... morning?
